Powhatan Place
The Powhaten Place sign in Mt. Oreb pay homage to the named trained that use to pass by this location, the "Powhaten Arrow".

[D Lamb Note: the following is from a note posted by Christopher Edwards on the Facebook CET Group Page regarding Pohaten Placeā€¦

Mt. Orab Port Authority has not owned the site since late 2004. They rolled over on the site and sold it to the owner of Hawkline. The first thing the new owner did was remove 95% of the rail infrastructure on the property.

We (Batavia & Ohio) had tried working with the Port Authority to develop it into a multi use rail served industrial park. However the owner of Hawkline started litigation against Mt. Orab & it's Port Authority. That is the reason my car and the Silver Fountain were moved to B-way in ANCOR.

The Port Authority took the money from the sale purchased a couple hundred acres off of Brooks Malott Road just north of the railroad.
