Unusual Locomotives Railway Spur Shunting
Posted to Facebook Cincinnati Eastern Railroad Group Page November 6,2018 by Brian Gibson. Description from post

3 historic locomotives still in revenue service! Railway shunting and switching action at a recycling plant. Cincinnati Eastern Railroad recently obtained this B36-7 from TTI Railroad. This General Electric locomotive has only been used a few times for CCET and this video shows one of its first uses. Coupled up to an SD45-2 it ran to Macon, Ohio to pick up a rare GP49 and to set off 2 empty gondola cars to be filled with scrap metal at Cohen Recycling. They also had 5 empty covered hopper cars for Winchester Ag Services in Winchester, Ohio. After we see them working at Macon, we also see them continue on to Winchester. Part 2 of this video will show them working the grain spur in Winchester. The outro also shows them returning light with all 3 locomotives through downtown Mount Orab, Ohio. CCET leases 69+ route miles of this branch line from Norfolk Southern Railroad. NS wanted to abandon this ex N&W branch but was forced to keep it open since Huhtamaki had just located a huge plant on this line. I have videos of the last NS trains and the first CCET trains. See my playlist for the CCET trains. Filmed November 1, 2018. Thanks for watching! Please comment, rate and SUBSCRIBE TO JAWTOOTH!!
