V01 - 1218 On The Upper Deck and Short Train Climbs Batavia Hill
This is the first video on my new layout inspired by the Norfolk Southern's Cincinnati District, affectionately known as the "Peavine". The layout is very early in construction, and this video is a celebration of the completion of the first section of track.

In this video you will see my model of 1218 running on the upper deck of the layout. As impressive as the model is visually, the sound is what really leaves an impression. Originally, this video was supposed to be of 1218 climbing Batavia Hill. But a operational issue left me scared to let her climb the helix.

So in 1218's place I added a short grain train behind Western Ohio GP15 number 110. I use this train to show what is completed so far, and identify locations I hope to model in the future.
