Train on Saratoga Street in Newport
Photo posted to Facebook by Ron Piskor on June 3, 2020. Description from post.

“Life on Saratoga Street” ... 40 years ago DT&I Locomotive No.407 was leading DC-9 off the Ohio River Bridge into Newport ,Kentucky. 407’s air horns intermingled with the horns of a wedding party that was flanking it’s train as they rolled down Saratoga Street. The DT&I was in the twilight of it’s life yet the liveliness of that scene has remained burnt into my memory like it was yesterday.
