A rock train running to the quarry on a Sunday! This was rare until now. Cincinnati Eastern Railroad is a short line railroad that operates on a Norfolk Southern Railroad branchline known as the Peavine. The line is curvey and hilly. I filmed the best spots and both sides of the train. Includes the steep slope out of Williamsburg, Ohio, downtown Mount Orab and the abandoned Canyon Road in Mount Orab. This is Part 1 of 2. Until recently, trains ran normal first shift hours Monday through Friday but with rare trains as needed. This is now the 2nd train that I have filmed on a Sunday and I have filmed a couple trains on Saturdays. Filmed January 9, 2022. Thanks for watching!
