Plum Run Quarry Looking East
From the Plum Run Quarry crossing, looking east, you can see the truck traffic in and out of the quarry has completely smoothed over the rails. By this time, it has been many years since a train used the flangeways of the crossing. This was one of the first places that I saw the signal heads were not bagged, like they are west of this point. Recent trips down State Route 73 have revealed that the signals heads on the eastern end of the line were never covered.
