The Warriors were the top scoring team this week. They were led by Bijon Robinson, who spotted the Warriors to an early lead on Thursday night with 33 points. The Warriors never looked back from there, dropping the Marauders 141-100.
Player of the Week honors went to Sam Darnold of the Oky Ducks. Darold had 39 in the Ducks 104-54 win over the Scammers. IT is the Ducks first win of the season.
There were a couple of close games this week, but the best saw Multiple Scoregasms eke out a 76.4 to 75.8 win over the Destroyers. Derrick Henry was the leading scorer for Scoregasms, who are on of only two teams to undefeated after three weeks.
The other good game saw the Renegades beat Damn So Close 110-106. For Damn So Close, this one really was pretty close. For the Renegades, they were led by Joe Burrow with 30. The Renegades are not 2-1.
The other undefeated team in the league is the Flippin Birds. They beat Vince Lombardi division rival Cincinnati Brown 103-87. Jahmyr Gibbs led the way for the Birds with 34 points.
I think the only other games left is the Kentucky Moondogs 125 – 106 win over the Great Dismal Swamp Monsters. The Vikings defense was the top scoring player for the Moondogs with 21. The Moondogs are not 2-1.
SURVIVOR
The Destroyers were the low team this week with 75 points, and are eliminated from the Survivor Challenge.
GAME OF THE WEEK
Game of the Week is a pair of first place teams. The Flippin Birds travel out east to the Renegades.
The Flippin Birds enter the game 3-0. They are just behind the Moondogs for the top scoring team in the league. Jahmyr Gibbs is their top performer at running back. The Birds lead the Lombardi Division early in the season.
The Renegades will host the Birds this weekend. At 2-1, that is good enough for the top spot in the Halas Division. Joe Burrow is the Renegades top man.
